Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport (PSA) - Guide to Pisa (PSA) Airport

Pisa is largely accessible on foot, making hiring a car unnecessary unless you wish to explore the surrounding Tuscan countryside. Local bus services run throughout the city and its outer regions, while taxis are also readily available for short hops.

The city can be reached by road, rail or by air; Pisa's main railway station has frequent connections with Rome, Florence and Turin. If you are travelling by car, Pisa can be accessed via the A12 north-south (Sestri Levante - Livorno) and the A11 east-west (Pisa - Florence).

Pisa International Airport offers direct flights to some European capitals including London and Munich, as well as regular flights to Italian centres. Located about two miles from the city centre, Pisa's airport can be reached by taxi or bus.
